Roto-Rooting Claims Process
- Homeowners must provide the City of Brandon with a paid invoice (not a statement) along with a sample of the roots.
- The invoice and roots can be delivered to the City of Brandon Parks Complex at 2020 McGregor Ave. The Parks Complex is open Monday to Friday 8:00 am – 4:30 pm. The office is open during the lunch hour.
- If the roots cannot be retrieved, please insure that the plumbers put that information on the invoice.
- Once the roto-rooting invoice is processed, city staff from the Sewer and Water department will look at the property to determine if they are eligible for reimbursement and what percentage of reimbursement the homeowner may receive. The reimbursement depends not on if roots are found, but whether there are trees on city property and/or private property.
